- Revenue Manager,The Palms South Beach, Inc. d/b/a The Palms Hotel & Spa (Miami Beach, FL): Maintain daily contact with hotels
to provide revenue management strategies in an effort to drive market share premiums at our hotels. Ensure proper use of sales tools and systems to maintain company database, and provide company wide revenue data. Set and manage appropriate yield controls to maximize each hotel’s revenue from all distribution channels. Be knowledgeable of occupancy, average rate, and REVPAR goals of each hotel. Develop accurate weekly operational forecasts and period forecasts, through trend analysis. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Tourism Management, Business Administration, or related field. Two years experience in reservations and revenue reporting and analysis for luxury/upscale hotel. Skills: Proficient in (PMS) Property Management & (CRS) Central Reservation Systems; knowledge of rooms division operations; knowledge of general data flow of guest stay records, such as room revenue, average daily rate (ADR), and hotel market codes. Internship Programs
The Palms Hotels & Spa also offers 12-month internship and management trainee programs for international students.
We currently offer the following internship paths:
- Front Desk
- Food & Beverage (Restaurant, Kitchen, Room Service, Banquet, Catering administration)
Requirements for internship/management trainee programs are:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Minimum two years of hospitality experience or hotel/tourism school education
- Must obtain a J-1 visa through an accredited agency
