She was warm and personable and the wedding ceremony was just perfect. Don’t know exactly how you did it . . . but you managed to coordinate a perfect wedding with absolutely NO STRESS for the bride OR the Mother-of-the Bride.  You did, expeditiously, everything we asked of you.  We had so many compliments on the beautiful venue, the service, the food, . . .EVERYTHING.  Of course, my favorite detail of the reception, was the impeccable Royal Palm Ballroom–the shimmering mirrors and amber up-lighting made it absolutely STUNNING. The best place I have ever been to for a wedding and I’m not just saying it because it was my wedding. The staff was on top of their game, I had no worries. I can’t think of a complaint to make on The Palms Hotel. The staff was fabulous. They were friendly and attentive. This includes the bellman, front desk, waiters, spa staff and even the phone operators . The beach and pool area was fantastic. The food was great and reasonably priced for a hotel like this.

The best part of it all was my wedding. Your staff is attentive, friendly and patient.  I couldn’t have asked for better people to assist in the coordination of my wedding. I can’t thank the staff enough for their gracious hospitality and wedding experience.

Choosing to have my wedding at a hotel was a very difficult decision for me. I knew I wanted a beach wedding but was worried about the “hotel” feel. Then I walked into the Palms! You are greeted by smiling faces and everyone is so helpful. The hotel itself has a very warm feeling as if you are more like a guest in someone’s home. The outside verandas are absolutely amazing as well.

From the food, to the service, the staff and the beautiful grounds, The Palms Hotel and Spa was the PERFECT location for our destination wedding. It is a lovely luxury hotel with an intimate southern charm feel throughout. We planned several events throughout our wedding week with The Palms and each event was spectacular. Something my husband and I noticed right away was how attentive the staff was to our wants and needs. They were there to make our day exactly how we wanted, we barely had to lift a finger! From the volume of the music during our rehearsal dinner in the Essensia Lounge, to the temperature of the room during our reception, the managers on staff were incredibly attentive but not at all obtrusive. And not to mention the food! We’ve had such rave reviews from our guests about the food that was served at our reception, especially the hors d’oeuvres served during cocktail hour and the tres leches dessert! Planning the wedding from Chicago, I emailed you probably 4 times per week over a year period and you always responded to my questions/concerns and was always helpful! One last final thought for future brides…The Palms was beautiful, intimate, romantic…a perfect setting for a beautiful tropical wedding. We would not do anything differently should we have the chance, everything was wonderful. Our guests have been quoted as saying our wedding was “magical” and truly a real life “fairytale”. You will not be disappointed with The Palms, they were wonderful!

Everything was superb! Not only did we find a jewel of a hotel but we also found the crown jewels of catering. You and your team were absolutely flawless. Everything went according to schedule without a hitch. I didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING ~ it was a pleasure.

The food was the best wedding food we’ve ever had and our guests all agreed. (I’ve never seen so many empty plates going back to the kitchen!). Everyone is still talking about it. Sorry I’ve taken so long to write you this note, but I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all of your hard work to make our wedding magical! I can truly say that it was one of the best, if not THE best, day of my life.

Like many brides, I looked at a number of wedding venues before choosing The Palms. I wanted my wedding to be on or near the beach in South Florida, to be scenic and personal, and to be within my budget, (which is quite frankly much easier said than done in the Miami area!). At a bridal show, we asked some vendors for some suggestions for a venue based on what we were looking for, and one of those suggestions was the Palms Hotel & Spa on Miami Beach. Once I saw the Palms from their website, I somehow just knew that we had found our venue. As a boutique hotel, the Palms offers a level of personal attention that you just cannot get from the crowded high rise hotels or hotel chains, and the wedding gazebo and tropical garden in front of the beach is about the loveliest place you could find for an outdoor Florida wedding.

We met with the Catering Director for the Palms, who worked with us to design a customized wedding package that included cocktail hour hors d’ouevres, 5 hours full bar, signature cocktail, champagne toast, dinner, wedding cake from a local vendor, and oceanfront wedding night accommodation, while still keeping close to our budget. During the planning process, you were  instrumental in helping us with wedding coordination and addressing our questions. Nathalie also helped us coordinate our specialty linen rental through the hotel, which was a great help because we were able to get good pricing and because it was one less vendor to have to find and coordinate on our own!

Several months before the wedding, The Palms arranged a personalized tasting for my fiancé, myself, and my parents, and we got to try full portions of the salad, cocktails, and entrees that would be served at the wedding reception. We were quite impressed with the quality and the food tasted amazing! We got to review the suggested layouts of the cocktail hour and ballroom in advance of the wedding, and the staff was flexible and helped us with any changes we needed.

Because we were impressed with the Catering Director, we also hired her as our “Day Of” Coordinator, and she did a fantastic job of orchestrating the wedding rehearsal, as well as coordinating the bridal party, vendor set-up, and service staff on the wedding day. We could not have been more pleased and grateful to her for keeping everything running so smoothly. We heard many, many compliments for the hotel, the food, the setting – just everything. We were really pleased with how every detail was handled.

The biggest hit with the guests was the Peruvian ceviche station, which our guests raved about, so I would recommend this during cocktail hour for anyone who decides to use the Palms for their wedding. You will not be disappointed!!

We absolutely loved the resort-y, relaxed and romantic setting from the second we saw it. Once we met the Catering Director, we knew that we were in great hands. The entire process was very stress-free for us because she took care of everything, from helping us pick vendors, schedule meetings, till the wedding day. In addition, especially because we live in New York, every time we come to Miami and visit The Palms during the planning stages, she would make us feel incredibly welcome and always planned something special for us. Joey and I were so happy with how things turned. We were equally impressed with the service and attention to detail. I know you were super busy over the weekend with the numerous weddings, brides and demands and never once felt neglected by you or your staff. We know our guests were equally happy and several of them commented that they would return when visiting Miami. Joey and I, too, feel like the Palms is a place that we would return to for a long weekend.

At my age, I don’t have too many single friends left – but should anyone ask for a suggestion for a destination wedding – you can be sure I will recommend the Palms. I will also put a good review up on Tripadvisor.

Oh – one more request – I saw that you took some pics of the ceremony circle and the table setting – is there any way you can email a copy of the pics? I don’t think Roy got those shots. I LOVED how the tables looked!
